What to pack
- You’ll need your laptop, charger and headphones. You will have some downtime to check emails and return calls. Please don’t forget your ID badge for the building if you have one. If you forget your ID badge or do not have one – you’ll need to enter the building through the main entrance and let Robin know. We will be sending you home with a few goodies so make sure you have a little space left in your bags.
What to wear
- Please make sure to adhere to the Ritter dress code throughout the week. The office can get chilly with the AC in the summer. Every day has some movement, so make sure you will be comfortable. Some activities at Carlisle Sports Emporium require closed toe shoes. Thursday we will do a group picture. If everyone could wear Blue, White, Black or Silver/Grey that would be awesome. Lastly, part of the closing party at the Historic Acres is outside. The ground is not level; be careful with shoe selection.
Travel and Compensation
- Any Camp Ritter event that is held during normal work hours will be paid. This includes the Wednesday event that will be held at Carlisle Sports Emporium.
- The travel time that cuts over the normal workday for staff that are staying overnight in Harrisburg will be paid time (this qualifies for satellite staff that are driving and flying).
Work Schedule
Monday (5/18) through Thursday (5/21), we are requesting mandatory in-office days for all staff, with an 8AM to 4:30PM being the working hours for those days
Wednesday 5/20 | Carlisle Sports Emporium
- If you choose to take the bus from Ritter to Carlisle Sports Emporium, you will be paid from the time the bus leaves our HQ Office until 4:30PM.
- Bus pick up at the hotel will be at 7:45AM and drop off at 9:15PM
- Bus pick up at the office will be 8AM and drop off at 9PM
- If you do not take the bus from the office and drive independently to Carlisle Sports Emporium, you will not be reimbursed for mileage. You will be paid from the time you arrive at Carlisle Sports Emporium, until you leave Carlisle Sports Emporium.
- If you are choosing not to travel and participate in the events at Carlisle Sports Emporium, you will be required to utilize PTO for the day, as the office will be closed.
Thursday 5/21 | Historic Acres of Hershey Party
- Working hours for Thursday are from 8AM to 3:30PM. You will be compensated for the full eight (8) hours that day.
- Our office will close at 3:30PM so you can get ready and travel to the party at the Historic Acres of Hershey.
Friday 5/22
- All staff will be required to work four (4) hours between 7AM and 4:30PM. You will be given one (1) hour of PTO to cover the remaining hour. Please work directly with your manager regarding your schedule that day.
- If you are traveling home that day your travel will include the four (4) hours, for example if it takes you two (2) hours to get home, you are expected to still work for two (2) additional hours on Friday.
